I've always watched the late night shows since I work nights and usually get home in time for them. Dave has always been my favorite. I think he's naturally more funny than the others. Sometimes his show is lame though.......that's the writers fault. I usually flip back and forth between them all and try to get a few laughs before bed. My favorite is Kevin, the black guitar player on Jay's show. His comments always cracked me up.Too bad for Conan O'brien, but at least he got a nice payout. Conan grew up in Boston and went to Harvard. Jay grew up in MA also. I didn't really care for Conan's show for some reason. Who do you favor?

I never got into the late shows as usually hit the bed at around 11 or so. I have watched Jay since being on at 10 and liked some of the shows. I do like his guy that leads the band too. My mind has gone blank on his name. Oh well!

For years we watched Letterman because I truly thought he was funny--living in Indiana there was a Cincinnati favorite named Paul Dixon and he admitted that as a child he watched him and many of his manorisms are the same as Pauls. When he started putting politics into his monolog--mean hateful politics-that was when I lost respect for the man-and do not watch him anymore--Jay is ok and I may watch him depending on who his guests are. Truly Craig Furguson is my favorite and I wish they could put him at an earlier time(in David's place would be good)because I do like him-alot. When all else fails I watch the Food Channel or The weather--to see what else is coming our direction as far as storms go.

i haven't watched late night comics for a long, long time. there are 2 reasons for that....i just don't like to stay up that late anymore, AND none of these guys move me in the slightest. methinks they are no-talent over-paid schmoes. of course i hearken back to the originals....steve allen, jack paar, and dick cavitt. these guys were smart, AND funny. and steve allen was talented (singer/song-writer/pianist). admittedly they were hard acts to follow....but some of the late night stuff nowadays is just insulting to their memory. color me from another place and time for sure !
